Today dawned cloudy and a little drizzly, but the predicted storms stopped at the Oklahoma border, so we managed to get some real work done for a change. Today was gardening day at last.
Yesterday hubby tilled the garden bed, and today he spread gypsum over it and tilled it again. Then one of our hired hands and I planted veggies. Here is the bed before planting:
and here it is after:
There are rows of tomatoes, green peppers, onions, carrots, radishes, lettuce, and hills of watermelons. The radishes and some of the lettuce were seeded, the rest were transplants. Now to see if I can keep any of this alive. The veggie bed is my baby--hubby doesn't grow veggies.

Even better, the builder sent his demo crew out to remove the brick from the end of the house. Copper did not like the banging, but it was music to my ears. If the weather holds the builder wants to start the foundation this week.

The closing on the sale of the second duplex is on Friday; that's another big step in the right direction.
Yesterday hubby got his dressing changed on his PICC line. He is doing so much better! I am very relieved. He sees his doctor on Thursday and may get to have the PICC line removed.
