On Thursday the dumpster was delivered. A good sign, right?
Because of the 4th of July holiday, framing will begin on Monday the 8th.

Yesterday we closed on the sale of the last duplex, and today we received the money. Our financing is now complete. This afternoon we had a meeting with the builder to go over some of the framing details and to discuss further elements of the build, such as cabling diagrams and built-ins. We paid him installment #2 of the four installments, so everything is now "a go." This installment pays through the "dry-in."

My succulents are doing well. One of the plants in the wagon is blooming--a delicate orange bloom.
I also have hens and chickens in an old grill. They are doing very well, too. By this time next year they should fill the whole thing.
